The goal of this assignment was to create a realistic looking touch up to a portrait photo on one half of the face. This was to practice making photos look nicer without making the subject look unrealistic. The image on the left was provided by my instructor. The image on the right is the after image where I retouched the left side of the face. The main tools I used were clone stamp and spot healing to soften the look of wrinkles and skin texture. I also increased the saturation of the subjects' clothes to make them appear more vibrant. Lastly, I used the burn tool to add color to the subject's hair.
